2. Data we collect
- Account and identification: name, e-mail, and login provider identifiers (Google/Apple).
- Usage data: interactions in the app, preferences, events you create or join.
- Location: city/neighborhood (and approximate location when you allow it) to suggest nearby activities.
- Communication: support messages and notification metadata (push tokens).
- Files/Images (optional): profile or event photos you choose to upload.
- Cookies on the website: to remember preferences and improve usability.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and improve the service (create account, authenticate, suggest and organize activities).
- To ensure security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- To send relevant updates and notifications (you can manage preferences).
4. Legal bases (LGPD)

We keep data for as long as necessary for the purposes described here and as required by law. You can request account deletion; minimal records may be retained for compliance reasons.

13. In-person activities, safety, and liability disclaimer
Hobby helps users connect, but it does not organize, mediate, or take responsibility for in-person meetups, transportation, venue conditions, individual behaviors, or any outcomes resulting from user interactions outside the app.
By choosing to join activities with others, you agree to act responsibly and follow basic safety practices, such as:
- reviewing user profiles and participation history;
- scheduling first meetings in public places and informing someone you trust;
- avoiding high-value items;
- leaving the activity if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable;
- using in-app tools to report abusive profiles.
Hobby may restrict, suspend, or block accounts involved in repeated reports of abuse, harassment, violence, discrimination, fraud, or other violations.
This clause does not replace legal or police guidance. In dangerous situations, contact local authorities immediately.
14. User Commitment to Legality
By using Hobby, you agree to act in accordance with the laws, regulations, and standards in your country and to respect the rights of other users. It is strictly forbidden to use the platform for:
- illegal or criminal activities, including trafficking, harassment, grooming, or any form of exploitation;
- sharing offensive, discriminatory, violent, sexually explicit content, or content involving minors;
- violations of privacy, identity fraud, or use of false identities;
- any attempt to deceive, manipulate, or exploit other users.
Hobby strongly condemns any form of child sexual abuse, exploitation, or violence, and cooperates with authorities whenever such behavior is suspected. Users who violate this commitment may have their accounts suspended or terminated immediately and be reported to the appropriate authorities.
